DESCRIPTIONA local technical college, the project consisted of the design and installation of mechanical services servicing to a new college block. The scheme was BREEAM Excellent and our design proved invaluable to the strategy to get this grade.
The new block was to teach new construction workers plumbing, electrical, hybrid services, brick workshop, cooking, painting and decoration.
The scheme had, to name a few, Solar Thermal, Photo Voltaic, Combined Heat and Power plant, radiant gas fired heating and traditional heating, as well as natural ventilation and heat recovery mechanical ventilation.
We worked closely with our supply chain to offer the client turn key installations off plant for example the entire hot water and LPHW generation is by Viessmann. This model means that the end user has one point of contact for any future service requirements.

Larewood have an excellent site manager on site at all times who gets on well with my site managers.
Any issues on site are relayed back to my team and between them resolved swiftly. Health & Safety is very good and they carry out tidy up daily.
Also they put in the hours in, where they are last to leave every day.”
